Instagram is a littler trickier than Twitter. There are no official limits but Instagram does have regulations to limit spam on accounts. New accounts or accounts created at least 3 months ago have limitations on them, for example if you go from 0 to 1000 likes in a matter of days Instagram may banned you. In order to avoid this you have to warm up your account.
How to warm up you Instagram account?
On day on start by following 40 to 60 people. Every day increase that number by 10 to 20 additional accounts. Do this for about 3 months until you account is warmed up.
